Job Description:
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for applying solid problem solving techniques consistent with an advanced knowledge of technical and operational issues involving Microsoft software, including Microsoft Exchange 2010, Windows Server 2008, Hyper V and Microsoft Lync. The Engineer will perform as a member of an IT support team managing large IT projects. He/she will interface with IT managers and other technical and functional support staff. In addition, the successful candidate will support team members and identify potential improvements to the overall solution.
Minimum Qualifications:
* US Citizenship
* The ability to obtain a US Government clearance
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field
* Experience with Exchange 2010 and Windows Server 2008
* Experience with a wide range of Cisco WAN/LAN Network Topologies
* Minimum of five years experience supporting a Microsoft production environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft MCSE certification
* Experience with Windows HyperV virtualization technology
* Experience with Microsoft OCS/Lync server
* Experience with Linux operation system
* Experience with VMware and routers
