Systems Engineer

Duties

Installs, configures, and maintains server, hardware, software and server applications and back up.
Experience in setting up Member servers for active directory replication services.
Administers VPN tunnels and clients
Administers users on hosted Exchange email server.
Administers Phone IP phone system
Performs routine network administration and troubleshooting.
Manages anti-virus and other security systems.
Install, maintain and troubleshoot issues with OFFICE SUITE, QuickBooks, SPSS and more.
Install, maintain and troubleshoot hardware, including upgrades, on desktop and laptop computers.
Install and troubleshoot printers and other peripheral devices.
Support and provide staff on computer use and assists with various tasks as needed
Blackberries and smart-phones set up, maintenance, and upgrades
General administrative support with service providers such as ISP
Keep updated documentation

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or a minimum of five years of directly related experience. Must be able to lift and carry desktops, monitors, servers, small printers and related devices as needed.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Office suite (2007 and 2010), databases, web based applications, DHCP server, DNS server, IIS server, Exchange Server.
